The Northern Utah Chapter of the Project Management Institue has invited all police officers to an evening presentation on leadership. On November 3rd they will be hosting an evening event at the Davis Convention Center featuring two keynote speakers. The first will be Sgt Matt Eversmann. He was one of the chalk leaders for the mission featured in the film “Black Hawk Down”. He will be discussing the on the fly leadership required as the mission went sideways and objectives were changing on the fly. Additionally we’ll have Chief Richard Picciotto from the New York Fire Department. Chief Picciotto was the highest ranking fire official to survive the collapse of the World Trade Centers on 9/11. He will share his experience of being on the 35th floor as the first tower collapsed and having to make critical life and death decisions in those moments as well as the details of his rescue from the rubble after the second tower collapsed.
This is going to be an amazing event and is right up the alley of police, fire and military personnel in the Wasatch Front area. The price is $19.00 for the evening. You can register at Project Manager Website. For a flyer about the event click here.
