The Utah Attorney General has opened the recruitment for hiring Special Agents for a two week period.  The positions are posted at https://statejobs.utah.gov/ . Starting pay is $27.63 per hour for a candidate with a baccalaureate degree.  Applicants must be certified or immediately certifiable as a Utah peace officer.  A baccalaureate degree is very strongly preferred.  Candidates nearing graduation will be considered.  Preference is given to applicants with substantial investigative experience.  Applicants must have five years full time sworn law enforcement experience.  Preference will be given to applicants with substantial investigative experience in white collar crimes, financial fraud and/or significant violent crimes.
