Chief Ross Larsen – UTA Chief of Police to Retire

Ross Larsen 10-2015Utah Transit Authority Police Chief Ross Larsen has announced his retirement after 32 years in Law Enforcement. An open house for Chief Larsen will be held on October 20, 2015 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. The open house will be held in the Silverton Room FLHQ at 669 W. 200 South in Salt Lake City. The Utah Chiefs of Police Association wishes Chief Larsen the best as he begins this new phase of his life!

Report on the President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing

All Utah Agencies are invited to attend an important presentation illustrating valuable strategies for implementation of the White House recommendations on policing. This presentation will be given by the Director of Reasearch for the IACP, Hassan Aden. Provo Police Department is hosting this presentation and it will be held at the BYU Conference Center on October 6, 2015 from 9:00am to Noon.
