After 43 years of dedicated service, including 12 as the Sandy City Chief of Police, Steve Chapman is retiring. Join Chief Chapman for a retirement celebration on May 1, 2014 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. The event will held at Sandy City Hall, 10000 South Centennial Parkway, Multi-purpose Room on the 3rd Floor.

10-33 Foundation Fundraiser

The Utah 10-33 Foundation, which provides immediate financial help to the families of fallen officers, is having a fundraiser on April 30, 2014 from 11:30am to 1:30pm. The event is being held as a pre-opening event at a new restaurant called “The Habit”. The Habit is located at 11380 South State Street, near Scheel’s in Sandy. The Utah Chiefs of Police Association held it’s annual conference in St. George, Utah from March 24th through March 27th.  Over 100 police chiefs and executive level police officers were in attendance.  We were pleased to have Utah Governor Gary Herbert and Utah Attorney General Sean D. Reyes join us.  The training, business conducted, golf tournament and banquet were excellent.   Several awards were given to police officers, police chiefs and special invited guests.  To see more information about the awards presented click here.  A huge thank you to all who helped make the conference a success!
