* Immigration Roundtable Information:
Utah Chief's have been asked to convene a roundtable to discuss immigration issues and formulate recommendation(s) to pass on to the Governor's office. We would like to invite all chiefs of police to participate in this effort. We know it is difficult to get all of us together at one meeting. Accordingly, we are planning two meetings-- one in the south and one in the north-- in the coming weeks.

We are confident there will be some form of legislation dealing with immigration law in the upcoming legislative session. The Utah Chiefs of Police Association Board needs to know how to serve the Governor and the legislature in an advisory capacity. Thus, this meeting is very important, and we urge you to make arrangements to attend one of them. Of course, it should be most convenient for those of you south of Nephi or Fillmore to attend the one at Cedar City; and, the northern chiefs to attend the one in Sandy, but you may attend either one that is most convenient. 

 

Brianhead Directions:
Take Exit 78 on I-15 which is the Parowan exit.  Go east through Parowan and follow the signs up the canyon (Highway 143)  about 12 miles to Brianhead.  The Grand Lodge's address is 314 Hunter Ridge Drive.  It is located just as you get into town on the right side just past the Brianhead sign.
